The Yamamachi series is handmade from scratch with the concept of being easy to use in both mountains and towns. At 2021AW, Yamamachi changed its name to the YM series and restarted. The YM Back Pack is the first backpack model of mountdoor. It has a comfortable pack weight of about 6 to 7 kg, targeting a wide range of people from mountain trips of about 1 night and 2 days to everyday shopping and students going to school. With this one, you can go anywhere in the mountains and towns.

1. Shoulder pads
The shoulder pads are designed to be 8mm thick. With just the right thickness for the 25-30L class, you can comfortably carry it on your back. The shape has been modified to match the neckline to improve ease of carrying. Ox nylon 240D is used for the outer material, and a mesh pad is used for the back.

2. Back panel
Assuming that you carry it on your back "near the shoulder blades", the mesh is placed so that the part where sweat is often generated is wide and the part where sweat is transmitted becomes thinner. The nylon part is made of the same material as the shoulder pads, Ox Nylon 240D, and the mesh placed in the center is luxuriously made of highly antibacterial "diame mesh". The mesh is also thick and highly breathable.

3. Load lifter
Load lifter is not so often equipped in the 25 ~ 30L class, but it is equipped in this backpack so that the backpack can be easily attached to the body. Yamamoto san place a road lifter with an emphasis on ease of movement.

4. Pole loops
Poles loops are equipped in both side of the backpack. It is easy to pass the trekking poles through the loops for attaching the poles on the backpack if you don’t need trekking pole in some circumstances.

5. Attachment parts
Yamamoto san chose lightweight parts that are easy to operate even when wearing thick gloves. The cross buckle is designed to be easy to push with your fingers.

6. Back pad
The back is filled with polyethylene foam called P-E light, which has excellent weather resistance and heat insulation. Yamamoto san tried 3 types of foaming magnification and personally chose the one that is the most comfortable and slightly softer for this backpack. However, there are individual differences in the comfort of carrying on your back, so if you feel different, you can insert your favorite back pad with the hardness that suits you.

7. Playful docking with YM Sacoche
YM Sacoche's cord adjuster and YM Back Pack's compression cord adjuster parts use the same parts. YM Sacoche can be used instead of a waist bag, so it has various versatility. We hope that YM Sacoche users will give it a try.
